Even the most acclaimed television shows have difficulty cracking 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s just a high bar to reach.

This month, however, Netflix has a trio of series that hit that mark.

Since there were only three, it made it very easy for Watch With Us to select the three new Netflix shows with at least 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Our picks for November include a returning British crime drama, a very adult comedy and a Netflix original that may breakout this season.

‘Broadchurch’ (2013 – 2017)

Broadchurch | Official Trailer Season One

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92 percent

The British crime drama Broadchurch was such a huge hit that former Doctor Who star David Tennant starred in both the original series and its American remake, Gracepoint. For this version, Tennant plays Alec Hardy, the newly appointed Detective Inspector for the small town of Broadchurch. His colleague, Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman), resents Alec for getting the job she wanted, at least until the town is rocked by the murder of a young boy, Danny Latimer (Oskar McNamara).

Ellie’s son, Tom Miller (Adam Wilson), has a personal connection to Danny that he desperately tries to hide. As Alec and Ellie follow leads, the town’s unity comes apart and the marriage of Danny’s parents, Beth (Jodie Whittaker) and Mark Latimer (Andrew Buchan), nears its breaking point from grief and betrayal.

Broadchurch is streaming on Netflix.

‘Minx’ (2022 – 2023)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 93 percent

Minx has the rare distinction of being both an HBO Max and a Starz original series, because the former canceled the show after one season, and the series was saved by the latter. This is a more mature TV-MA comedy than most, with plenty of male nudity that fits in with the premise of the show. In the 1970s, Joyce Prigger (Ophelia Lovibond) didn’t envision her high-minded feminist magazine as a porn rag. And yet that’s what it becomes under porn magazine producer Doug Lanetti (Jake Johnson).

Doug’s the only publisher who believes that Joyce’s ideas for Minx can work, but he’s also using the magazine to break into another area of porn. It’s an eye-opening experience for Joyce, who tries to hold on to her ideals while adapting to the magazine’s new focus. Some eccentric personalities are working for the magazine, and even Joyce can’t resist having an affair with Shane (Taylor Zakhar Perez), one of the magazine’s models.

Minx is streaming on Netflix.

‘The Vince Staples Show’ (2024 – Present)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 94 percent

The closest thing to The Vince Staples Show is Curb Your Enthusiasm, as the series has a knack for marrying the mundane to the surreal and bizarre comedic situations that happen to rapper/actor and minor celebrity Vince Staples. As one of the cocreators of the show, Staples isn’t afraid to let himself be the butt of a joke, and he also has an adept comedic persona that may take him far as an actor.

Season 2 features an extended story spread across six episodes as Vince faces a personal loss while trying to repair a rift between his mother, Anita (Vanessa Bell Calloway), and his sister, Bri (Naté Jones). Trouble always seems to have a way of finding Vince, and this season is no exception.
