A glamorous social media influencer expressed her “deepest gratitude” after she was among the more than 1,500 Capitol rioters pardoned by President Donald Trump late Monday, just hours after he was sworn back in.
“Tonight, I was pardoned by President Trump,” Isabella Maria DeLuca, a 25-year-old Long Island native, wrote on social media. “Thank you God.”
“Last March, I was arrested by seven armed FBI agents, my apartment was raided, and my phone was seized,” she explained, sharing a copy of her federal charges — including theft of government property, disorderly conduct and entering a restricted area — for being at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
“The [Department of Justice] wanted me to agree to a plea deal, which included a year in prison and $100,000 fine,” she wrote — a fear now gone.
“Promises made were promises kept,” she said of the 47th president’s actions hours into his second term in the White House.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for the overwhelming love, prayers, and unwavering support you’ve shown me throughout this ordeal. Your kind messages, encouragement, and belief in me made all the difference, giving me the strength to face the emotional and mental challenges of this nightmare,” she continued.
“I will never forget the outpouring of compassion and solidarity from so many of you. Thank you for standing by me during one of the darkest times of my life.”
DeLuca, who boasts 140,000 on Instagram and 468,000 on X, had been accused of storming the Capitol and helping pass a stolen table out a broken window during the ordeal, according to court records.
The table, which was taken from a Senate terrace room, was later used to attack law enforcement, the feds alleged.
DeLuca, a native of Setauket, Long Island, was arrested in California — more than three years after the Capitol chaos.
She was charged with theft of government property, disorderly conduct and entering a restricted area, all misdemeanors.
The conservative influencer once interned for ex-Rep. Lee Zeldin, who represented part of Long Island, as well as Rep. Paul Gosar, who reps part of Arizona.
She also previously worked as a media associate for the Gold Institute for International Strategy but they cut ties with her around the time she was charged.
DeLuca was among the hundreds of people Trump granted clemency to after returning to the White House from a day of inaugural festivities — staying true to his promise to pardon those involved in the Capitol chaos years earlier.
The newly sworn-in 47th president signed a document commuting 14 prison sentences and offering “a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.”
“I will say this, they’ve been in jail for a long time already. I see murderers in this country get two years, one year and maybe no time. So they’ve already been in jail for a long time. These people have been destroyed,” Trump said in the Oval Office when asked if any beneficiaries had assaulted police.
“What they’ve done to these people is outrageous. Even people that were aggressive, and in many cases, I believe they happen to be outside agitators. But what do I know? But I think they were. I think they were outside agitators. They were outside agitators. And obviously, the FBI was involved.”
