Lorelai Gilmore, is that you?
Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham delighted fans by uploading a “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) style video via TikTok on Thursday, July 17, in which she channeled the quirky personality traits of her famous character, Lorelai Gilmore.
“I’ve had just enough coffee to think that filming myself doing my makeup is a good idea,” Graham began the video. “Let’s see if you agree!”
She then proceeded to do her makeup while simultaneously listing the things she needed to buy at the grocery store. In true Lorelai fashion, at the top of the list was coffee, which was quickly followed by laundry detergent.
Graham played Lorelai for seven seasons from 2000 to 2007, and again in the Netflix revival series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 2016.
Though there haven’t been any new Gilmore Girls-related updates since then, in April the show’s co-creator Dan Palladino teased the possibility of future installments.

“A Year in the Life meant we got to actually end it the way we wanted to end it, Amy Sherman Palladino, the other co-creator of Gilmore Girls, told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. “So I feel very happy.”
Palladino agreed, before adding, “Maybe it’s not the end, who knows?”
In addition to Graham, the beloved series also starred Alexis Bledel as her gifted daughter Rory, as well as Emily Bishop as Lorelai’s mother, Emily Gilmore.
Sherman-Palladino also said the pair would love to work with Graham again, something that wasn’t possible while they were filming their Amazon Prime Video series Étoile.
“She was working while we were doing Étoile, which is annoying,” she explained. “Again, I only want her working with me, but you never know. I definitely want to get back in Lauren’s face on a daily basis.”
She also said that she would enjoy reuniting with Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Luke Kirby and Gideon Glick.
“We just need the best of the best and we’ve been very lucky to work with the best, and they spoil us because we think everybody’s going to be like that and not everybody’s like that,” Sherman-Palladino told Us. “So we long to work with them again.”
Graham has also made it clear she’s open to any kind of Gilmore Girls reunion.
“I always say yes because it’s the best part I ever had,” she said on the Tuesday, February 4, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I love doing it, and I think it was a really wonderful [experience]. It’s just that thing where it was the perfect material at the perfect time with the perfect writer — and it just means so much to me.”
