A woman has died days after a car ploughed into the group she was walking with on the Sunshine Coast in an allegedly intentional hit-and-run.
A white Toyota Yaris hatchback allegedly struck the crowd of eight people near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Aerodrome Road at Maroochydore just before midnight on Saturday.
Guilherme Dal Bo, 38, allegedly fled the scene and dumped the car nearby, but was tracked by police to an apartment on Alexandra Parade along the beachfront a short time later.

Police say he had been involved in a confrontation with some of the group when they tried to cross at a pedestrian crossing minutes before the crash.
A 23-year-old woman from New South Wales was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with critical injuries, before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
She died of her injuries on Monday night.
Dal Bo was charged with eight counts of attempted murder on Sunday. Police were yet to say if the charges would be upgraded.
Three other pedestrians, including two teenage men, were also seriously injured in the crash.
Dal Bo is expected to reappear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 19 December.
