When it comes to their children’s health, families want confidence that care is delivered by providers with the expertise and resources to meet young patients’ unique needs. From routine treatment to highly complex conditions, children’s hospitals play an essential role in care for the youngest among us.
At the same time, the pediatric care landscape continues to evolve. According to a recent national study, the number of U.S. hospitals offering a broad range of pediatric services has declined, while facilities with more limited pediatric capabilities have become more common—making it increasingly important for families to understand which hospitals offer the highest levels of pediatric expertise.
To help provide that clarity, Newsweek and global data research firm Statista are proud to recognize America’s Best Children’s Hospitals 2026. This annual ranking highlights leading pediatric hospitals across the country, offering insights to help families make informed decisions about their children’s health care.
The ranking will be based on a national survey of medical professionals, including neonatal physicians and nurses, general and specialized pediatricians and other health care professionals working in pediatric care.
Thank you for taking the time to participate; your input makes this ranking possible.
The survey will be open until March 12, 2026.
