Kaitlyn Bristowe is continuing to fuel romance rumors with fellow Bachelor Nation alum Zac Clark after commemorating his birthday.
Clark, 42, took to Instagram on Saturday, January 17, to share a series of photos from his celebration, including an image of him smiling while placing his hands around a birthday cake with a message that read, “F*** fruit.”
“42. Still never had a bite of fruit,” he captioned his post, while Bristowe, 40, wrote in the comments section, “Natures candy. Weirdo. Happy birthday.”
Bristowe’s comment comes two years after romance rumors began circulating between her and Clark when the pair were spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve together at her Nashville home. The duo have since interacted on social media, with Bristowe cheering on Clark when he ran the 2024 New York City Marathon, commenting via Instagram, “You are one bright ass light.”
Bristowe and Clark have yet to publicly confirm or deny their romance. The former Bachelorette, however, has hinted at their relationship. While appearing on the “U Up?” podcast in August 2024, Bristowe explained that she reached out to a woman after going on a date with her “Bachelor Nation” ex.
Bristowe explained that the unnamed woman replied, saying, “I always knew you were a bad person and you’ve confirmed it. Your true colors are showing.” Bristowe hung up the phone and thought to herself, “Now, I just want to send her a picture of me sucking his d***.”
After receiving backlash for her remarks, Bristowe later apologized for how the comments “came off.” In her “Off the Vine” Facebook group, Bristowe wrote, “My sense of humor isn’t for everyone.
While Bristowe did not name Clark in the interview, fans were quick to speculate she was referring to him and ex-fianceé Tayshia Adams. (Clark was engaged to Adams from 2020 until their split in 2021.)
One year after the interview, Bristowe exclusively explained to Us Weekly that she has decided to keep her love life under wraps.
“Privacy is so hot, like, I am turned on by being private. There’s something really special and sacred about it,” Bristowe shared at the time. “Obviously, I had two very public relationships, and I’m an over-sharer and an open book, and it’s very hard to not share certain things of my life, but it feels so right. Relationships from Bachelor franchise or people online, like, it starts to feel a bit performative at times. And I feel like that was where it was going for me last time, and it did not feel good.”
Bristowe was previously engaged to Shawn Booth for three years before the twosome called it quits in 2018. She moved on with Jason Tartick, with whom she split from in 2023 after four years together.
“So this time around … I’m like, ‘Look, I just turned 40,” she said. “I am in the best place of my life in every aspect — personally, professionally, spiritually, in a good place, and protecting my peace can come with some privacy.’ And I’m into it.”
