Liberal senator James Paterson has said this morning that the details emerging after the midair stabbing of a pilot on a commercial aircraft flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv were “eerily reminiscent” of events inside the fourth plane hijacked on 9/11, which crashed near Pennsylvania after passengers and crew members intervened.
“There hasn’t been a full investigation, but based on what we have learned, it’s a very serious incident that could have been worse. In many ways, it’s eerily reminiscent of the United 93 flight on 9/11,” he told News24.
