Pop star Chappell Roan clashed with paparazzi who she said were “disrespecting” her boundaries and “harassing” her, after an appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
Roan was in the audience for Sean McGirr’s AW26 presentation at Alexander McQueen, but was encountered by paparazzi when she left the event to go to dinner.
In a video circulating widely on social media, she is seen standing next to a car and being met with a throng of paparazzi. She then holds up her phone and starts speaking to the camera while filming a video.
“When you’re disregarded as a human, this is what it’s like. I’m just trying to go to dinner, and I’ve asked these people several times to get away from me,” she said, before turning to film the paparazzi, who hid their faces.
It’s not the first time that the Hot To Go! hitmaker has clashed with the paparazzi after she called out photographers at the 2024 Video Music Awards.
