The Kansas City Chiefs are locked into a huge matchup on Sunday Night Football against the New York Giants. After a rough 0-2 start to the season, Andy Reid and company badly need to figure out how to get in the win column.
In the second quarter, a concerning moment was caught on the Chiefs’ sideline.
Reid and star tight end Travis Kelce have had their fair share of heated moments together. Another one was caught against the Giants.

Amid the frustration clearly rising for Kansas City, the two went chest to chest as Kelce walked to the sideline during the game.
Take a look at the video of the sideline clash for yourself:
Needless to say, this isn’t a great look for the Chiefs. This isn’t the first time the two have clearly had differing opinions, but it’s never good to see frustration boil over between a head coach and a player.
Fans immediately took to social media to share their thoughts on the fiery interaction between Kelce and Reid.
“Reid said something about Taylor swift and Kelce wasn’t having it,” one fan wrote.
A second comment read, “Is Travis okay??? Andy shouldn’t be doing this to him.”
“That looks more like very tough love to me,” a third fan said.
At the time of this writing, Kansas City is tied in the second quarter by a score of 6-6. Harrison Butker missed a chance to extend the lead to 9-0 on a missed field goal and then the Giants marched down and scored a touchdown but the extra point was blocked.

Even though the Chiefs are currently tied in the game, they don’t look great. Since Week 1, Kansas City simply hasn’t appeared to be the dominant team that it has been for years. There are legitimate reasons for concern surrounding the team.
Despite that being said, anything can happen in the NFL. The Chiefs could catch fire and get back to being a top-tier Super Bowl contender at any given moment.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the game goes for Kansas City. Should the team start the year with an 0-3 record, panic would immediately set in within the Chiefs’ fan base. For now, they’re leading but the frustration is clearly rising.
