Prescott, who has thrown for 1,881 yards, 16 touchdowns and three interceptions, has received huge help from his star wide receivers.
CeeDee Lamb has caught 21 receptions for 332 yards and six touchdowns in the four games he’s played. When Lamb was out with a high-ankle sprain for three games, George Pickens did more than step up. He stood out, and leads Dallas in receiving with 36 receptions for 607 yards and six touchdowns.

On Tuesday, the Cowboys made a big decision on another wide receiver who can boost the offense.
Per Todd Archer of ESPN, Dallas signed Jonathan Mingo to the 53-man roster. In addition, the Cowboys placed offensive Trevor Keegan on injured reserve for a neck injury and opened the 21-day practice windor for three players.
“The Cowboys have added WR Jonathan Mingo to the active roster and placed OL Trevor Keegan (neck) on injured reserve,” Archer posted on X. “The practice windows for DeMarvion Overshown, Shavon Revel and Cooper Beebe will begin Wednesday.”
The Cowboys brought back Mingo just in the nick of time.
On Oct.1, the Cowboys activated Mingo’s 21-day practice window after he was placed on the reserve list before the regular season due to a knee injury. Dallas had until Wednesday to activate Mingo to the 53-man roster, or he would revert to injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
Dallas traded for Mingo last season. He played in eight games for Dallas, recording five receptions for 46 yards.
Mingo was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2023 draft. The Ole Miss standout has appeared in 32 games and started 20, recording 60 receptions for 585 yards.
Mingo will be looking to score his first NFL touchdown when he returns to the field this season. He should have a few opportunities to receive a target in the end zone with the way Prescott is slinging the ball.
