A woman has been found dead in a home at Morayfield, north of Brisbane, sparking a criminal investigation.
Police confirmed a crime scene has been established at the property.
“Around 2.38pm police responded to a welfare check at a Hinchinbrook Circuit residence,” police said in a statement.
“A woman in her 40s was discovered inside the residence deceased.”
Investigations into the cause of death continue.
