Georgina Rodríguez takes style tips from the best.
Rodríguez, 31, who is engaged to soccer pro Cristiano Ronaldo, took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 19, to share a glimpse of the outfit she wore to a recent dinner at the White House. She snapped a pic of a navy blue dress hanging from a doorway. In the next slide, Rodríguez posted a pic of Hilary Swank wearing the exact same design at the 2005 Oscars.
The elegant Guy Laroche number featured long sleeves, a high neck, a fitted bodice and a floor-length skirt. The look was finished with a completely open back that plunged to her hips and a pleated train.
For glam, Rodríguez donned a full beat, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta. Her glam featured dewy foundation, extra rosy cheeks and highlighter swept on her high points. Her eye makeup was soft and glamorous, with a bronze shade blended to her crease and tapped into her lids. She completed her glam with filled-in eyebrows, long lashes and glossy lips.
As Ta, 33, did her beat, hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos got to work on her hair. He created a slicked-back updo with her mane parted to the side and twisted into an elegant bun.
Rodríguez added a touch of sparkle to her look with diamond and sapphire earrings.
When Swank, 51, wore the look, she also sported soft brown eyeshadow and glossy lips, as well as diamond earrings. Just like Rodríguez, Swank let the look speak for itself and pulled her brunette hair back into an updo.
Rodríguez previously made headlines for her out-of-this-world engagement ring from Ronaldo, 50.
In August, she shared a photo of her massive ring via Instagram, featuring an oval rock with side stones set on a silver band.
Following their announcement, engagement ring specialist Laura Taylor broke down the ring’s details to Us Weekly.
“[Her] engagement ring is an extraordinary piece, featuring what appears to be an oval-cut diamond in the 15 to 20 carat range,” Taylor told Us at the time. “The center stone is flanked by substantial side diamonds, adding even more sparkle and making the already impressive main stone look even larger.”
Taylor added, “If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million.”
Neil Dutta, the managing director of Angelic Diamonds, told Us that he estimated the ring to be even bigger, at around 30 carats.
“A ring of this quality would likely be worth between $3.7 million to $4.9 million,” Dutta explained. “It’s a piece that rivals some of the biggest celebrity engagement rings, from Beyoncé’s to Kim Kardashian’s, and after [eight years] together, it’s definitely been worth the wait.”
Ronaldo and Rodríguez started dating in 2016 and have since welcomed 3 children together.
The Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr player welcomed his first son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., now 15, in 2010, but has never publicly revealed the identity of his mother. In 2017, he welcomed twins Eva and Mateo, 8, via surrogate around the same time he started dating Rodríguez.
Just weeks after the twins were born, the couple shared that Rodríguez was pregnant, later giving birth to Alana, now 8. In 2021, they announced that they were expecting twins. Later that year, they shared that their baby girl, Bella, now 3, was born healthy, but their son, Ángel, died.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away,” Ronaldo wrote via Instagram at the time. “It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.”
