Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was unable to take the field for his team’s Week 8 victory over the New York Giants, battling a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 7.
Fortunately for Brown, he had some extra time to recover over the Eagles’ Week 9 bye.
Brown was a full participant in practice on Thursday, but he’s still listed on Philadelphia’s injury report as the team prepares for Week 10’s “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Green Bay Packers. He cleared the air on his injury status will a definitive statement on Thursday.
“I’m playing,” Brown told reporters. “I’m good to go. Good to go.”

After a slow start to the 2025 season, Brown had his best performance of the year in his most recent outing. Before suffering his hamstring injury in Week 7, the three-time Pro-Bowl WR reeled in four catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns to help the Eagles take down the Minnesota Vikings with a 28-22 final score.
Brown was a rumored trade target leading up to Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, but he remains with the reigning Super Bowl champions moving forward.
Brown was asked about these trade rumors during his media availability on Thursday. The 28-year-old pass catcher said he’s happy to be in Philadelphia.

Superstar running back Saquon Barkley also notched full practice participation on Thursday, despite being listed on the injury report with the groin injury he suffered during the Eagles’ Week 9 win over the New York Giants.
The Eagles are 6-2 coming out of their bye week, holding firm No. 1 position in the NFC East standings. The Philadelphia squad is trending in the right direction, winning each of their last two games after notching back-to-back losses in Weeks 5 and 6.
Week 10’s primetime “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Packers will kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET in Green Bay.
