When Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin took home season 34’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in November 2025, Carson joined a small group of pros with multiple wins.
“The first time I won, I was 19 years old, and now I’m 32 so I have kids now, and so, to celebrate with them and my husband [Carson McAllister] was so special,” Carson said on Good Morning America after her second victory.
Eight other pros have won it all multiple times. Derek Hough has hoisted the mirrorball six times (his sister, Julianne Hough, has done it twice). Meanwhile, Jenna Johnson has two trophies, while her husband, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, has three.

Derek Hough
The Dancing With the Stars GOAT conversation begins and ends with Derek, who has won the Mirrorball with Brooke Burke (season 7), Nicole Scherzinger (season 10), Jennifer Grey (season 11), Kellie Pickler (season 16), Amber Riley (season 17) and Bindi Irwin (season 21).
Derek retired from the show after season 23 and returned as a judge for season 29.
Mark Ballas
Ballas was a mainstay on Dancing With the Stars from seasons 5 to 22, winning the show twice in that span — both times with Olympic athletes. He took home the title with former figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season 6, then with ex-gymnast Shawn Johnson in season 8. He returned to the franchise in season 25, then picked up his third win in season 31, when he was paired with Charli D’Amelio.
Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Chmerkovskiy first appeared on Dancing With the Stars in season 2 but didn’t appear as a pro until season 13. He picked up his first win in season 20 alongside Rumer Willis and followed that up in season 23 by winning with gymnast Laurie Hernandez. His most recent win came in 2023’s season 32 with Xochitl Gomez.
Cheryl Burke
Burke, a two-time winner, won the Mirrorball Trophy in her first two attempts: season 2 with Drew Lachey and season 3 with Emmitt Smith. She has appeared on the show 23 times since then. Burke placed second in seasons 8 and 13 and third an additional four times.
Julianne Hough
Similar to Burke, Julianne won her first two seasons She appeared on seasons 4 through 8, winning 4 and 5 with Apolo Ohno and Hélio Castroneves, respectively.
Jenna Johnson
Jenna didn’t begin competing on DWTS until season 23, but she has made up for lost time with two wins in the eight years since her debut. In addition to winning with Rippon in season 26 and Graziadei in season 33, she also has a pair of second-place finishes to her name, meaning she has made it to the finale in half her overall appearances.
Kym Johnson
It took Kym Johnson a few tries to get that elusive title, but she finally claimed her first Mirrorball Trophy on her seventh season, partnering with Donny Osmond for season 9. Just two appearances later, she did it again, winning with Hines Ward in season 12. She also won the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars in season 2.
Peta Murgatroyd
Murgatroyd made her debut as a member of the DWTS professional cast in season 13 but was eliminated with partner Metta World Peace on night one. She bounced back the next year, winning season 14 with Donald Driver. She won again with Nyle DiMarco in season 22.
Witney Carson
Carson, who first joined DWTS as a troupe member during season 16 before being promoted to a pro during season 18, won her first mirrorball with Alfonso Ribeiro during season 19 in 2014. She later took home her second trophy with Irwin during season 34 in 2025. After her second win, she gushed about how “full circle” it felt to have Ribeiro, who now hosts the competition, hand her the trophy.
“The fact that Alfonso gave me the mirrorball, it’s kind of like, really full circle for me, and just to have Robert as my partner,” she said on GMA. “I mean, you guys know how special he is. He’s exactly this way in real life, which is crazy, but it was a very memorable, special season.”
