The trailers for the final film have been outright frightening, as Lorraine and Ed take on a case that brings them back to one of the first demons they encountered during their careers. Naturally, the franchise is set to end things with a proverbial bang, which is what appears to have happened with the film’s popcorn bucket.

The popcorn bucket craze has taken over completely, as theaters nationwide have released themed popcorn buckets that go along with whatever film is being released. In the case of “The Conjuring: Last Rites,” the popcorn bucket harkens back to the Annabelle doll.

During the franchise, a spinoff of sorts revolved around a possessed doll named “Annabelle.” was made. The real-life doll itself is an old Raggedy Ann, which is said to be one of the most possessed items the Warrens owned.

In the “Annabelle” films, the doll is far creepier and has been transformed into a popcorn bucket that fans are losing their minds over.

In an all-encompassing look at “The Conjuring” universe, Annabelle is holding onto a bucket emblazoned with the new film’s logo. Fans have taken to the internet to voice their frightened opinions on the bucket.

One fan indicated that the popcorn bucket will be the source of a jump scare instead of the movie itself, stating: “When your looking down to avoid the jump scare but get jump scared by your popcorn bucket.”

Another wrote, “Imagine being at the house in the dark with this late at night 😳.”

Another fan indicated that they will not be fooled by Annabelle,

“Nah nah nah nah you’re not gonna get me Annabelle nice try.”

It is apparent that fans are as scared of the popcorn bucket as they are of the Annabelle doll that appeared in the films in “The Conjuring” universe.

Fans can see “The Conjuring: Last Rites” when it releases on September 5, and buying the Annabelle popcorn bucket may or may not be the best idea.
