LaToya Jackson routinely posts updates on Instagram, but her latest post has fans worried about her.
The fifth and middle daughter of the Jackson family, 68, recently shared a video in which she wished her followers happy holidays. The video, uploaded on Saturday, December 21, showed a glimpse of her Christmas celebration in Qatar.
The Jackson sister can be heard saying, “Happy holidays, guys,” before adding, “Holidays from Doha,” referring to the city in Qatar where she’s staying. Later in the video, she poses in front of a huge lit-up centerpiece in what appears to be a hotel lobby, asking the person behind the camera to back up to get a better view of herself and the space.
Some fans pointed out that the star looks concerningly slim in the video, with a number taking to the comments section to share their worries.
One fan asked, “Ooh wow, what’s going on with her,” while a second added, “LaToya, hunnie (and I ask this VERY respectfully and lovingly), what is going on? You look TOO frail! I know many people notice but are afraid to ask or bring it up.”
A third fan said, “Praying for her. Let’s not judge other people ’cause we don’t know what this woman’s been through in her life and what’s really going on. Instead of us complaining about her circumstances and how she’s looking, we need to be praying for her. That’s how you get God’s attention in your blessings—by not judging other people.”
The post comes after the death of her brother and founding member of the Jackson 5, Tito Jackson. Tito passed away at age 70 from a heart attack on September 15.
LaToya posted a heartfelt tribute to her late brother on Instagram, sharing a picture of the memorial card from his funeral with a caption that said, “Yesterday was a celebration of life! We love you, Tito, and we will miss you!”
