The New Day remains one of the best and most popular stables in the history of WWE.
Not only have has The New Day taken home a record-breaking 13 WWE-branded tag team championships, the group also boasts two former WWE Champions: Kofi Kingston and Big E.
Additionally, Big E has won the NXT Championship and Intercontinental Championship once each while Kingston has won the Intercontinental Championship four times and the United States Championship three times.

Unfortunately, this leaves third member Xavier Woods out to dry without any singles gold to his name. And Kingston believes that it’s time for that to change.
During a recent appearance on The Battleground Podcast, Kingston shared his belief that Woods is more than deserving of an individual championship.
“For Xavier (Woods) to have a singles title, I know that’s important to him,” Kingston said. “It’s long overdue. He’s amazing on the mic, he’s amazing in the ring. His physique, his body game up… He deserves to have singles gold. It’s long overdue.”
It’s true that Woods is more than deserving of this opportunity. Not only has he been with the company since 2010, but he has had a consistent presence on WWE television since 2013.
Additionally, Woods has created a secondary presence with his YouTube channel, Up Up Down Down, and is partially responsible for bringing back King of the Ring, winning the honor in 2021.
However, he has yet to win an actual championship. Hopefully, this will be remedied soon.
