A hockey coach north of Brisbane has been charged with alleged sexual offences involving multiple girls, with police asking more people to come forward.
On Sunday, detectives went to a property in Arana Hills and took a 73-year-old Arana Hills man into custody.
Police alleged he used his position as a hockey coach to offend against a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl.
The man was charged with two counts of grooming a child under 16 years and three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 years.
He was expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 9.
Police are urging anyone with more information or interactions of a similar nature to come forward.
