Home Alone launched the career of Macaulay Culkin — and more than three decades later, fans are still quoting the iconic 1990s Christmas film.
“Christmas is my time of year,” Culkin exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2019. “I get recognized 10 times more between the months of November and January. I have no idea why.”
Culkin, who played Kevin McCallister, isn’t the only actor from the ’90s movie and its 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, that has gotten recognized over the years. Catherine O’Hara, who played Kevin’s mom, Kate McCallister, told the Star in November 2015 that she is “grateful to be a part of someone’s Christmas ritual.”
Three years later, she told InStyle that “from November through December ‘tis the season for Home Alone!”
