Indiana knew this was going to be a tough season after losing their star Tyrese Haliburton in last season’s NBA Finals, and thus far, it has been. The spotlight has been bright on No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg, and unfortunately for the Mavericks, he’s been slow to adapt to the NBA game. Through four games, Flagg is shooting just 38% from the field and 26.7% from the 3-point line, averaging 13 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Dallas is coming off a 101-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Anthony Davis leading the way, scoring 26 points to go with 11 rebounds and three assists.
