The Battle of Florida resumes on Saturday night when the Tampa Bay Lightning (20-13-3, 43 points) visit the Florida Panthers (20-14-2, 42 points) at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida.

Florida caught fire in the third period, scoring five goals to erase a 2-0 deficit in its 5-2 road win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. Anton Lundell scored the go-ahead goal at 7:00 of the third, just 43 seconds after Luke Kunin tied the game. Niko Mikkola, Sam Bennett, and Seth Jones also had goals while Sam Reinhart recorded three assists.

The Lightning last played on Monday, skating to a 4-1 victory over the visiting St. Louis Blues. Darren Raddysh finished with a goal and two assists while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 23 shots to pick up the win. Pontus Holmberg opened the scoring just 21 seconds into the game, while Anthony Cirelli and Oliver Bjorkstrand also lit the lamp.

The teams have split road wins thus far this season, with Tampa Bay getting a 3-1 win on Nov. 15 and the Panthers responding with a 5-2 victory on Dec. 15. Brad Marchand leads Florida with 20 goals and 41 points, while Reinhart has 19 goals. Sergei Bobrovsky is 16-8-1 in 25 starts with three shutouts, an .889 save percentage, and 2.78 goals against average. With Brandon Hagel on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, Jake Guentzel’s 17 goals top the Lightning, with Nikita Kucherov adding 13 and a team-best 45 points. Vasilevskiy is 13-7-2 in 22 starts, recording a shutout to go with a .913 save percentage and 2.32 GAA.
