An innocent 33-year-old woman bled to death in a Brooklyn bar bathroom after she ran for help when a stray bullet hit her during a Sunday morning street brawl, police and sources said.
The deadly gunfire erupted when a fight broke out between a group of about 100 people outside the Ooh La La Lounge near Bergen Street and Howard Avenue around 2:23 a.m. in Crown Heights, according to the NYPD.
An errant bullet struck Sofronie Hartzog in the back and a 34-year-old man in the gut — both unintended targets, police said.
Hartzog ran into the bar, where she collapsed in a restroom.
