Newly-minted US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle revealed Thursday she still has a great relationship with her ex-husband, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, during her first interview as a diplomat this week.

Guilfoyle, who was previously engaged to Donald Trump Jr., briefly touched on Newsom and also businessman Eric Villency, her second husband before they split, as she described herself as a loyal person who can always be counted, according to a report.

The topic of exes came up after a reporter with the Greek station ANT1 brought up divorce during Guilfoyle’s first sit-down in her new role.

Guilfoyle, 56, stressed breaking up doesn’t mean former spouses can’t continue to be friendly toward each other, according to a translated transcript of the interview released by the station.

She then reportedly said she has a great relationship with Newsom, who has become an antagonist to President Trump during the Republican’s second term.

The former Fox News host also showered praise on Villency, whom she shares a 19-year-old son with, noting they’ve had a friendship for 20 years.

“What people need to understand about me is that I don’t give up,” she said, according to the translated transcript provided by ANT1.

“I will stay with you, I will be loyal. I will always be here, you can count on me.”

Guilfoyle was married to Newsom between 2001 and 2005 and then was wedded to Villency between 2006 and 2009.

An email to Newsom’s office seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday.

The Trump ally officially took office as the first woman to serve as American ambassador to Greece this month.

“I know we will do amazing things for these two exceptional countries,” she told attendees at an early November welcome reception. “I will not disappoint the United States of America. I shall not disappoint Greece.”

She entered Trump’s inner-circle initially when she started dating the president’s eldest son, Don Jr. in 2018.

The pair got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2020, but the end of their relationship was revealed in December 2024.

Trump soon nominated Guilfoyle to her diplomatic role, and on Thursday Guilfoyle vowed to work on issues connected to the president’s agenda and strengthen relations between Greece and the United States.
