She’s got ice in her veins.

A Long Island school bus driver is being praised for safely maneuvering her out-of-control vehicle down a sloped, snowy road.

Earlier this month, Theresa Fogal’s skills behind the wheel were captured on a hair-raising viral video, showing her bus rapidly skidding on an angled residential street in Rocky Point.

Despite the poor conditions, Fogal stopped the bus safely at the flat bottom of the road in just a few seconds.

“Theresa’s actions that day were a powerful reminder of the responsibility and care our transportation staff carry every single day,” Rocky Point Superintendent Dr. Scott O’Brien said, according to a Facebook post by the school.

“In the face of inclement weather, she ensured that her students remained safe, calm and cared for — a feat that deserves all our admiration and gratitude.”

At a recent board of education meeting, Fogal received a certificate of appreciation and gave a shout-out to her bus company, First Student.

“I was trained by the best!” she briefly said.

A friend of Fogal who attended the ceremony also posted that she is “extraordinary in every way,” linking back to the footage of the heroics.

Since the video and news of her award became widespread, the slick driver was given much praise online.

“Saw the video, incredible save!!!” one commented on Facebook.

“Way to go, Theresa, thank you for keeping the children and yourself safe,” another added.
