Mayhem gripped New York City’s subways as a man and teen boy were stabbed while riding trains Saturday.
A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the torso at Grand Central Station while riding a southbound 6 train around 5 p.m., police sources said.
The victim was hospitalized in Bellevue and is in stable condition.
Police said they are searching for a suspect who was dressed in all gray attire and was wearing a beanie hat.
The suspect and the victim were having a dispute prior to the attack, police sources said.
Around an hour later at 6:11 pm there was a separate attack on the ACE line. A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the arm by another teen wearing a brown jacket at the 42nd Street stop.
These attacks come after a man was stabbed in the back while waiting for a train on the Upper West Side Friday.
The 23-year-old was waiting on the northbound 1 train at 96th and Broadway around 7pm when a stranger plunged his blade into his back after the two had an argument.
He was taken to Mt. Sinai-Morningside Hospital in stable condition, and was likely to survive police sources said. The cops recovered the knife on the scene.
The suspect was said to be a light-skinned male with a slim build who fled to the street level, cops said.
There have now been four knife attacks on NYC subways this month.
Gov. Kathy Hochul pledged $77 million to keep NYPD cops in the subway system in 2026 Thursday.
Subway crime has dipped to its lowest level in 16 years and overall transit crime is 15% lower than it was in 2019, Hochul crowed.
