The Rangers should be calling the St. Louis Cardinals about Ryan Helsley and the Minnesota Twins about Jhoan Duran as the deadline inches closer to give them the arm that they need to secure games and reach the postseason.
Rosenthal also mentions that they should be in the market for a right-handed bat, and while the market is thin on power hitting, the Rangers could find a serviceable bat to add to their lineup for the final stretch. The Rangers should be handling the needs of their bullpen before making any changes to their offense.
