Major League Soccer has continued to grow into one of the more recognizable leagues across the world since its inaugural season in 1996.

At the end of this current campaign, Salah will leave Liverpool after an illustrious nine-year stint. He was instrumental in helping his club win two EPL titles as well as a Champions League crown. Individually, Salah is undoubtedly one of the most prolific attacking players of his generation.

When asked about Salah’s impending availability as an unattached player, Garber admitted that “he’d love to see [Salah] in [MLS]” if possible. He also mentioned that the league would provide Salah with “a great platform” to perform on.

Having said that, Salah would be an immediate draw in the United States. Liverpool is widely considered to be one of the most popular clubs globally. Plenty of fans living in the U.S. have seen the brilliance he brings to the pitch.
Even as he creeps closer to his mid-30s, there’s little reason to think Salah can’t be an impact player for an MLS franchise.
