A Texas man with a prior murder conviction is accused of running a “full-service drug operation” near several schools where authorities say surveillance showed what appeared to be teenagers purchasing narcotics and fentanyl pills were disguised to look like ecstasy.

The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force raided a home in the 1200 block of Appomattox Drive in Texas City on Aug. 18 following a two-month investigation, with the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team conducting the tactical entry.
