A Bronx brute shot a man during a crazed road rage tantrum, then ran off and left the victim clinging to life, cops and sources said on Monday.

Frankie Poventud, 41, allegedly opened fire and hit a 36-year-old man during a clash at Concourse Village and East 156th Street on Friday just before 4 p.m., according to the sources and authorities.

It wasn’t clear if Poventud had been in a vehicle or if the victim had been a driver or passenger.

The victim – who did not know Poventud – was taken by private means to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, cops said.

Poventud, of Mount Hope, allegedly fled on foot, before turning himself in at the 44th Precinct stationhouse nearly two days later on Sunday evening, police said.

In addition to the attempted murder rap, Poventud was also charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said.

His arraignment was pending late Monday.

The shocking daytime gunfire came weeks after a deadly road rage-fueled shooting in the Bronx on New Year’s Day.

Hard-working Uber driver Issa Mbolo-Isac, 55, was shot and killed at the intersection of Morris Avenue and the Cross Bronx Expressway just before 7 a.m. Jan. 1 – marking the city’s first homicide of the year, cops said.

Representatives from the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers said at the time that Mbolo-Isac was callously shot during an argument over a fender-bender.

The NYPD has named Ehinel Troncoso, 24, as a suspect, but he has not yet been caught.
