Paige Lorenze and Tommy Paul are making the most of their engagement.
“I’ve loved it,” Lorenze, 27, exclusively told Us Weekly of her fiancée era thus far while promoting her brand ambassadorship with Celsius alongside Paul, 28. “The wedding planning process has been so fun. Getting older is just the best. I’ve loved getting older, and I think this is part of that era.”
She continued: “I think [the engagement] has made us even closer, which I didn’t know could be possible. I think it’s also fun to plan with him. We’re enjoying it a lot. It feels more serious too, which is really exciting. We’re really looking forward to everything that has to come.”
The duo first debuted their relationship in 2022 before announcing their engagement in July 2025.
“Forever,” the couple simply captioned a joint Instagram post on July 13, alongside a carousel of photos of the tennis star’s proposal on the island of Nantucket in Massachusetts.
While Lorenze credits Paul’s proposal as his most romantic gesture in their relationship, the influencer has a few of her own.
“We are honestly very simple as a couple in a great way, but I love surprising him with his favorite meals and doing date nights at home,” she told Us. “Something sweet and romantic that I’ve done for him in terms of gifts [was] when his ranking was top 10 in the world, I got him a watch with the back engraved and it said ‘Top 10 and beyond.’ That was really special.”
Though, Lorenze clarifies that their gestures of love “doesn’t always have to be a gift.”
While she’s gearing up to say “I do” to a lifetime with Paul, Lorenze told Us that she knew their relationship would be forever very early on.
“I knew since the beginning. I was at an age where I was like, ‘I’m dating to marry,’” she said. “He’s really such a rock. He’s a really humble, calming guy. I think I knew pretty immediately, which is so sweet. It’s so nice to feel that way about your partner.”
Their work schedules can often take them in different directions — including this holiday season, during which Paul will be away training — but sometimes the couple get to collaborate professionally, including their brand ambassadorships with Celsius.
“I love how integrated they have been in sports and an active lifestyle. They’re one of Tommy’s main sponsors,” Lorenze told Us of her love of the natural energy beverage, which recently launched limited-edition flavor Spritz Vibe. “Tommy has a big Celsius fridge, so I feel like we’re always drinking it. It’s fun to partner with someone Tommy works with, because a lot of my content has included him and our natural day-to-day life.”
Explaining that her favorite flavor is the Peach Mango Green Tea, Lorenze added: “It’s very easy to integrate in our life because it’s such an organic partner for us.”
Paul will be prepping for the Australian Open this Christmas, so Lorenze says they’re treating Thanksgiving as their combined holiday together. But the pair have mastered the art of long distance love at this point.
“When you’re long distance, you have to really consider what you’re bringing to the table even more,” Lorenze told Us. “Every day, he and I find ways to show up for each other, and we’re also constantly asking each other and checking in on ways that we can show up for each other better each week.”
Prioritizing “overcommunicating,” Lorenze added: “Every aspect of our relationship has had to have been stronger in order to feel like long distance was an option.”
