Patrick Mahomes took to social media to react to the latest honor for his wife, Brittany Mahomes.

This past weekend, Mahomes was inducted into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame. The 30-year-old retired soccer player suited up for the Patriots from 2013-16, scoring 31 goals over the course of her four-year collegiate career.

“Truly honored to be inducted into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame! This City and this School is a huge part of who I am today, I will forever cherish this honor and am forever grateful for what this program did for me as an athlete and as a person! Coach Webb, you brought out the best in me, this doesn’t happen without you!” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

Mahomes, a superstar quarterback for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, shared a strong message of support in his wife’s comment section.

“Congrats!!!! Love you!” he wrote.

Mahomes’ longtime teammate and friend Travis Kelce also took to the comment section to congratulate Brittany.

“HOF BRITT!!!! LFG!” the veteran tight end added.

Following her Hall of Fame collegiate career at UT Tyler, Mahomes traveled to Iceland for one professional season overseas before retiring in 2017. She now co-owns the Kansas City Current, a National Women’s Soccer League team.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes share three children: Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden Raye, 1. The pair have been together since they were teenagers, getting engaged in 2020 and married in 2022.

Mahomes and the Chiefs experienced a rare down year in 2025, finishing the season with a disappointing 6-11 record and missing the playoffs. The two-time NFL MVP and three-time Super Bowl champion suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury in Week 15.
