Davante Adams is having one of the best seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams, and he has seemingly confirmed in a recent interview when he will hang up his cleats for good.

After becoming one of the best wideouts of his generation on the Green Bay Packers as Aaron Rodgers’ partner in crime over the course of a decade together, Adams struggled for a few years after leaving the frozen tundra.

He publicly struggled in Las Vegas and then tried to recapture the magic with Rodgers in New York with the Jets to only end up disappointed. A move to Los Angeles this offseason, though, has reignited his passion for football, as he has found a special connection with his new quarterback, Matthew Stafford.

Entering Week 15, Adams leads the league in touchdowns with 14. His coordination with Stafford has become second-to-none, as they’ve broken defenses once they reach the red zone. Their relationship has become so close that the league-leading receiver has affirmed to Stafford that he knows when it will be time to retire.
