Residents were urged to temporarily stay indoors as firefighters battled a blaze at a home in Brisbane’s north on Sunday.
An emergency declaration was made about 7am on Sunday due to the fire on Kinsellas Road West in Mango Hill. It has since been revoked.

Three sheds at the back of the property were alight, with “a lot of stuff to burn” inside, a Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said. The material included tires, and the resulting smoke prompted an emergency declaration.
Atmospheric tests have since returned a nil reading, meaning the air is safe, a QFD spokesperson said.
Two fire trucks remained at the property on Sunday afternoon, pouring water on the area. Fire investigators have also been paged to work out the cause of the fire.
Smoke billows from the Mango Hill fire, which prompted an emergency declaration.
Four people were assessed by paramedics but did not require hospitalisation.
Residents on Kinsellas Road West, Diamond Jubilee Way, and Waler Close were asked to stay inside with their windows closed and their airconditioners on recirculation mode, if possible. The community was asked to avoid the area.
Photos shared on social media showed thick black smoke billowing from the home, and residents reported a strong odour.
