Russia resumed strikes on Kyiv, killing at least two people and wounding seven after the expiration of a three-day halt in attacks for a visit to the Ukrainian capital by US envoys, the city’s military authority said Tuesday.

Russian forces also attacked Boryspil and Fastiv districts with drones, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which posted on Telegram late Monday.

Russia’s state news agency TASS had earlier confirmed that the strike pause had expired.
