Shots have been fired from a vehicle towards another car on a suburban street in Sydney’s western suburbs.
Police responded to reports of the shooting on Victor Street in Greystanes just after midday on Friday.

“The two vehicles then left the scene,” NSW Police said in a statement. No injuries have been reported.
An investigation is now under way, and police were seen canvassing neighbours for information.
Minutes after the shooting, at 12.13pm, fire crews were called to a blaze on Targo Road in Girraween.

Firefighters found a vehicle well alight next to a block of units. The fire was extinguished within the hour.
Police are investigating if the car fire is linked to the shooting. The scene of the fire is an eight-minute drive from Victor Street.
