Like many sibling duos, Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley’s relationship is far from perfect.

Ever since Chrisley Knows Best premiered in 2014, viewers have had the chance to watch Todd and Julie Chrisley’s kids grow into adults.

While Savannah and Chase’s sibling bond proved to be great reality TV, things got complicated once Todd and Julie went to prison for tax fraud charges. (The duo have since been released after being pardoned by President Donald Trump.)

“I haven’t spoken to Chase in … I can’t tell you when,” Savannah shared in a September 2025 interview with Nightline. “I feel that I had so much pressure on me. I think it was just being in the circumstances that I was in and had all these people in close proximity, but I never felt so alone.”

The pair’s distance relationship was further explored in the Lifetime docuseries titled The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.

“Savannah just wants to be worshiped, and I’m not doing that. I don’t know what her beef is with me,” Chase claimed in an episode. “I know Savannah’s trying to paint me out to be this big, bad monster that’s not there for the family, but that’s just not the case.”

Savannah and Chase Chrisley’s Reality TV Success

Although Todd was the main character of Chrisley Knows Best, fans quickly fell in love with siblings Savannah and Chase as they bonded over their dad’s wild arguments, silly rules and overall eccentricity.

In 2019, Savannah and Chrisley embarked on a new journey thanks to their spinoff show titled Growing Up Chrisley. Cameras rolled as the pair embarked on a big move to Los Angeles in hopes of proving to Todd that they can make it all on their own. The series lasted four seasons.

Savannah Chrisley Baptized by Chase

In November 2015, Savannah documented her decision to get baptized — with help from her younger brother Chase.

“I made the best decision of my life exactly 4 years ago as of today,” Savannah wrote via Instagram in November 2019 with photos from her experience. “Thank you for always guiding me in the right direction and for knowing what is best for me more than I do. Thank you for the many times you have forgiven me whenever I deviated from your path. Thank you for always reminding me that sometimes you are the only one I can trust, you are the only one I can talk to and you are the only one who is truly listening.”

Chase Chrisley Recalls His Drinking Habits

After his parents went to prison, Chase said he started drinking. “I would just go and go and go and go,” he said on the September 1 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. “[I] wasn’t setting any boundaries for myself and didn’t really have anybody to tell me no.”

At another point of the show, Savannah claimed she went to great lengths to help her brother before things went “downhill.”

“I have tried. I have tried to help him,” she said in a confessional interview. “I had set up for him to go to a treatment facility. I had already bought him a plane ticket. We had already gone through the whole intake process and then he told me to go eff myself.”

Savannah Chrisley Picks Up Her Parents From Prison Without Chase

During the September 9 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Chase claimed he was excluded from picking up his parents from prison after they each spent 28 months in jail for bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion charges.

“Chase has been nonexistent during this entire process,” Savannah claimed on the show. “No one really had the emotional capacity or want to have to deal with Chase and all of his crazy emotions. Trying to dictate or not help. You also don’t get to have a say if you’re not financially helping to contribute to this whole process.”

Chase later admitted to his grandma, Nanny Faye, that he was “pissed off” at how the travel arrangements were handled.

Savannah and Chase’s Reconciliation Not a Lost Cause

While Chase and Savannah may not have had the tightest bond at the time of filming The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, both parties have shown signs of love and respect for one another.

“I am so proud of you @savannahchrisley the work you have put in and the voice you have been for not only our family but all the families that don’t have a voice!” Chase wrote via Instagram in November 2024. “You’re truly an inspiration. Your persistence and drive is unmeasurable and I’m so proud to call you my sister! I love you!

In a therapy session filmed for The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Savannah said Chase “hasn’t done anything beyond repair.”

She added, “I want a relationship with him. I want him to thrive.”
