Retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Dr. Mark Brown, president and CEO of Tuskegee University in Alabama, is bringing forward a “professional educational environment” to one of the nation’s most prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Students will be required to bring a business suit and shoes to campus for business-like meetings and cannot dress unprofessionally in the classrooms or cafeterias. Head coverings will also be barred, with exceptions for those that serve religious or medical purposes.
