EDMONTON – The Saskatchewan Roughriders flipped the script on Edmonton on Saturday.

Backup quarterback Tommy Stevens scored three touchdowns as the Roughriders evened their season series with Edmonton, defeating the Elks 28-26.

“We knew it was going to be a tight game, it probably will be when we see them again at the end of the year,” said Saskatchewan head coach Corey Mace. “I was extremely proud of our team. We had a lot of guys who had to be pushed into playing tonight and we found a way to beat a good team on their home turf.”

The Roughriders improved to 5-2 and moved into sole possession of second place in the CFL’s West Division.
