She says she is well organised with school and doesn’t mind spending hours daily on the business.
“It’s what I love to do,” she said. “Some kids love to go out with their friends, or go partying, but I love being with the kids, and to focus on my business.”
After finishing year 12, she is considering adding products to her brand and taking orders from overseas.
Sienna says that when she started in 2017, she was “obsessed with slime, like every kid was”.
“Then I started making it from home, for my friends. I started a Shopify store selling it – just little containers of slime I’d made,” she said.
The business took off during COVID-19 lockdowns with children stuck at home.

It outgrew the family home and in April last year, a two-level factory was bought.
Sienna’s mother says: “I’m so proud of her. I’ve always motivated her and said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support it.’”
Sienna’s father, Dan, brother Jake, 16, and aunt Danni also help out at slime workshops and during peak times, such as before Christmas.
How does Sienna look back on what she’s achieved?
“I think it’s just, like, crazy and I’m so proud of how far it’s come,” she said. “If you had told me when I was 11 it was going to be like this, I wouldn’t have believed you.”
A common question she is asked is, “Isn’t that messy?” But she explains that she uses a non-sticky recipe. “Parents love it,” she says. “It’s not going to go all over their furniture.”
Tuzen Nestorovski says her daughter, Maisie, wanted a slime party for her eighth birthday, which she celebrated on Sunday with friends at their Airport West house.
Maisie had attended one of Sienna’s workshops and a friend’s slime party, and found them fun and interactive.
Nestorovski says Maisie uses slime as a fidget toy. “If she’s having a bit of downtime, she’ll play with it and it helps calm her.”
