The other teens were also taken to hospital as a precaution and remain under police guard.
In a separate incident in Macquarie Fields, in Sydney’s south-west, police are searching for the driver of a luxury SUV after the vehicle crashed into a home and landed on a bed.
About 4.20am, emergency services were called to Evelyn Street where they found a white Porsche Macan had hit an electricity transformer before crashing through the front fence of a single-storey home, breaking through the front wall and landing in the bedroom.
The car was found resting on top of the bed. No one was at home at the time of the incident, and there have been no reports of injuries.
Two people left the scene before police arrived, with officers searching for the driver.
In a final incident in a dramatic night on Sydney’s roads, two drivers were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Greenacre, also in Sydney’s south-west, with one of the cars smashing into a home.
About 12.50am, emergency services were called to Wiley Avenue following reports of a three-vehicle collision.
One vehicle had veered off the road following the crash and hit a house, rupturing gas and water lines.
The driver of the vehicle – a 45-year-old man – was taken to hospital in a stable condition, while the passengers – a 37-year-old woman and three children aged 15, 13 and five – were not injured.
A 26-year-old woman driving a ute involved in the collision was treated for serious leg injuries and taken to the hospital in a stable condition.
The 24-year-old male driver of the third vehicle, a sedan, was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition for treatment and mandatory testing.
