Country singer Thomas Rhett’s sister-in-law Macy Page has been diagnosed with stage III breast cancer.

“2026 got off to a rockyyyy start, and I want to start by saying God is so GOOD,” Page, 33, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, February 5. “He is gracious. He is kind. He is gentle. He is FAITHFUL. He is loving. He is healer. We found out in January that I have stage 3 breast cancer, and I start chemo on Tuesday.”

Macy, who is married to Tyler Page, is the sister of Lauren Akins. (Akins, 36, has been married to Rhett, 35, since 2012.)

“It definitely came as a shock and rocked our world a bit, but let me tell you something— God has a plan, and this is HIS story. My wordddd you guys it has been so evident from the beginning,” Macy continued on Thursday. “He has truly been in every. single. detail. From seeing @bridget profile and deciding to randomly do a self-check, to getting the news it’s in my lymph nodes but nowhere else 🙌🏻, to the people He’s connected me with (breast cancer survivors, doctors, family friends), to crucial doctors appointments opening up unexpectedly, down to the scripture He’s had me open to at random — He is carrying me through this and is fighting for me!”

Macy further praised her “family, friends [and] friends of friends” for sharing their support and offering prayers.

“My No. 1 prayer through all of this is that the Lord brings as many people to Jesus as He can, because the reality is, we live in a broken world,” Macy, a mom of two, wrote in her upload. “There’s pain and suffering all around us, but thank God that’s not where it has to end. That’s not what we have to fix our eyes on — we fix our eyes on Jesus, that He came to earth perfect and blameless, to die for our sins so that we can have eternal LIFE with Him.”

She added, “I’m honored to fight this disease with God beside me (& all my people) and I’m excited and so ready to BEAT this thing in the name of Jesus! I love all of you, and to my ladies — check. your. girls.”

As Macy gears up to start treatment, she received support from several of her fellow influencers.

“Wow! These words! Fighting words 👏👏,” Sadie Robertson replied in the comments section. “The sword of the Spirit! The full armor of God! PRAYING for you, friend, and believing with you!”

Tyler Hubbard’s wife, Hayley Hubbard, added, “You’re so incredibly strong, especially with Jesus at your side! Proud of you and we are here for you!”

Kristen Brust also sent her well-wishes for a quick recovery.

“Oh my girl, wrapping you in prayer is THE easiest thing I know to do,” Brust  commented. “You are amazing. Chosen. Light. I love you and I am here praying you through every step.”

Rhett and Akins, who share four daughters and are currently expecting baby No. 5, have not yet publicly addressed Macy’s diagnosis.
