Tiger Woods hasn’t competed in over 13 months after battling several injuries, from a torn Achilles to back surgery, but it appears things are finally turning around for the 15-time major champion.
After missing the entire TGL season, his team, the Jupiter Links, is now competing in the TGL Finals in a best-of-three championship against Los Angeles, which won the first match on Monday night.
However, Tuesday’s clash will look a bit different. It was announced late Monday that Woods is set to make his return and will be in the Jupiter Links lineup — a major development just weeks before the Masters at Augusta National, a tournament he has not ruled out playing.
Following the announcement, Woods shared a simple yet viral two-word message: “I’m back,” sending fans into a frenzy and fueling belief that his return to the PGA Tour could also be right around the corner.

“He better be playing at Augusta in a few weeks,” a fan said.
Someone else added, “LFG!!! Getting [Masters] ready.”
Another person wrote, “Masters Inbound.”
“All of your childhood idols are long gone and Tiger Woods is all that remains… play as long as you can Tiger,” one more fan commented.
It’s important to note that this doesn’t necessarily mean Woods will return for the Masters. There’s a significant difference between competing in TGL and playing a full four-day, 18-hole tournament.
That said, the fact that he feels healthy enough to swing a club in a high-pressure, competitive setting is an encouraging sign of where his game stands. It’s highly unlikely he would step into the lineup and replace another golfer if he didn’t feel ready to compete.
