President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) accused Hilton Hotels of refusing rooms to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, describing it as a “coordinated campaign” against DHS law enforcement in Minneapolis.
“When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?” DHS wrote on its official X account.
Newsweek reached out to Hilton for comment on Monday afternoon.
This is a developing story and will be updated with additional information.
