The two men accused of murdering a woman north of Brisbane before Christmas have been identified by police and may be hiding out in northern NSW.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 29-year-old Codye Thomson and 32-year-old Kaine Thomson-Gleeson, whose images were released by police last week in relation to the murder.

Chloe Jade Mason – also known as Ceejay – was found shot on the footpath of Railway Parade in Caboolture on the night of December 22. The 23-year-old was declared dead at the scene.

New images of a white Holden Commodore station wagon – with registration plates 953 HO4 – were released by police on Friday morning.

Investigators say that the two men may be camping in northern NSW. The car was last seen on December 30, but police have appealed for any sightings since then.

“Obviously, these men have travelled some distance from Caboolture to across the border and would’ve interacted with members of the public along their journey,” Moreton District Detective Inspector David Harbison said in a statement.

“I would appeal to anyone in northern New South Wales or even those in southern Queensland who believe they may have seen these men or this vehicle to come forward to police.
