United States-based OnlyFans star Nicole Pardo Molina was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Mexico, with reports suggesting the act was somehow related to her supposed ties to the Mexican cartel.

Molina, 20, was abducted at gunpoint by multiple armed men in Mexico on Tuesday, January 20, according to footage that her lilac Cybertruck documented of the incident.

The alleged kidnapping took place outside of a shopping center in Culiacán, Sinaloa, according to Spanish outlet El País. Molina was reportedly at the venue selling merchandise that featured a photo of cartel leader Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán at the time of the incident.

The area in Mexico where she has been living, which is also where her father is originally from, is reportedly controlled by a rival faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. The outlet reported that the location she was at suggests that the alleged kidnapping might possibly be linked to a cartel rivalry.

Footage of the incident showed Molina being approached by a white Toyota Corolla, which has multiple attackers inside. The kidnappers allegedly used tire spikes to bring her vehicle to a halt before they pulled her into the car, according to El País.

“According to initial investigations, three armed men in a stolen white vehicle threw tire spikes at the SUV the victim was traveling in, intercepted it, and then forced the victim into the car,” authorities said, per El País.

Molina visibly struggled and attempted to slam the Toyota’s rear passenger door shut. The footage also showed her trying to get back into her own car.

However, the men managed to overpower her, and she was forced into the back of the car. Once Molina was in the vehicle, the car sped away to an unknown destination.

While it was speculated that Molina was targeted due to her alleged cartel connection, El País also reported that it was well known that she owns a distinct lilac Cybertruck that made her quickly recognizable.

Authorities have since confirmed Molina’s disappearance, and a missing persons case has been opened. Additionally, authorities said they are investigating her possible links to the ongoing turf war between the rival cartels.

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Sinaloa said that officials have no information regarding where Molina currently is. “It is considered that her safety may be at risk, as she could be a victim of a crime,” the office said in a statement.

Molina was born and raised in the United States, and her parents currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. However, she splits her time between Culiacán and Phoenix, where her family has continued to live.

She reportedly dropped out of school in the United States after the COVID-19 pandemic in order to pursue business ventures in Mexico, according to El País.

Molina has since created a large following on OnlyFans, while she has also gained popularity on Instagram. As of time of publication, she has more than 180,000 followers on the social media platform. Additionally, she shares lifestyle content on TikTok, Twitch and YouTube.
