The top Ukrainian negotiator said the most recent Russia peace talks in the U.S. with President Donald Trump’s team were “constructive” and he will now return to Kyiv to discuss the latest proposals with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The primary task of the Ukrainian team was to obtain from the American side complete information about their conversation in Moscow and all drafts of current proposals in order to discuss them in detail with the President of Ukraine,” said Rustem Umerov in a post on X.
“Together with all partners, we must do everything possible for a dignified end to this war. Today, we will provide the President of Ukraine with full information on all aspects of the dialogue with the American side and all documents.
“We are working as intensively as possible. Glory to Ukraine!”
