A pro-Palestine march through the Brisbane CBD will go ahead tomorrow, despite a last-minute route change and rejection in court of plans to cross the Story Bridge.
Speeches will be held from 1pm at Queens Gardens in the city. Marchers will then proceed down William Street, across the Victoria Bridge and conclude at Musgrave Park in South Brisbane.
Ousted Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather plans to address the crowd, as does a representative for the Electrical Trades Union and multiple community and faith leaders.

Organiser Remah Naji believes turnout could be much higher than the 7000 people initially predicted.
“We do expect that at the very least 7000 people to show up. However, it does look like we’ll get more than that,” she said on Saturday afternoon.
A march in Sydney across the Harbour Bridge was expected to attract about 10,000. More than 100,000 likely showed up, according to police and protesters’ estimates.
“We do encourage people to come along, show solidarity, bring their friends, bring their families,” Naji said.
“This is going to be an incredible day of community while we show solidarity with the Palestinian people and pressure our government.”
