Fans immediately began to speculate about the pop star’s bridal party after Swift announced her engagement to Kelce in August 2025. A source exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2025 that the couple doesn’t want a “long engagement,” and instead hope to get married in summer 2026. In other words, Swift may already have her bridesmaids selected.
In early November 2025, Swift was spotted having separate dinners with Gigi Hadid, Ashley Avignone and Sabrina Carpenter, sparking a fan theory that she was asking them to join her bridal party.
“All these dinners with her girls … it’s giving collecting your bridesmaids,” one X user wrote.

Ashley Avignone
Taylor Swift and stylist Ashley Avignone are longtime pals, having met through mutual friend Emma Stone. Avignone has attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games with Swift.

Gigi Hadid
Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid have been friends since at least 2014, when they were photographed at Vanity Fair’s Oscars Afterparty together. After Hadid gave birth to her and Zayn Malik’s daughter in 2020, she revealed that “auntie” Swift had made her a baby blanket.
Swift and Hadid were spotted leaving Zero Bond in New York City together on November 3, 2025.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter was a longtime fan of Taylor Swift before the pair finally met backstage at a show in 2017. The “Manchild” singer went on to join Swift on her Eras tour in 2023 and 2024.
