A chihuahua born without front legs has left the internet teary-eyed as she adapts to life on wheels.
Hannah Sanders (@hannah_sand24), 26, from Seminole, Florida, shared footage of her adopted 5-month-old pup Belly, who was originally a foster from Rags to Riches Animal Rescue in Tampa, Florida. Sanders had only planned to foster Belly for a few days—but quickly fell in love and decided to adopt her. The video footage documenting Belly’s journey through various sets of wheels has garnered 1.1 million likes and 7.6 million views on TikTok.
“She was rescued from a dog hoarder house. I was only supposed to foster her for three days but after the first day I fell in love with her and knew I wanted to adopt her. I first created her two sets of wheels out of Legos hoping it would work for her. After posting that video online a man named Jeff reached out to the rescue offering to help 3D print her wheels,” Sanders told Newsweek.
The heartwarming clips show Belly’s progression from makeshift Lego wheels to a custom 3D-printed pair of blue wheels, specially designed to support her mobility.
“Every set of wheels we got helped us figured out how to make the next set better. Watching her grown and become so strong has made me so incredibly proud of her. She amazes me everyday with her strength. She sleeps with me every night in bed and cuddles up to me. I am so blessed to have her,” Sanders added.
According to Walkin’ Pets, adopting a disabled pet can be a life-changing experience. Caring for animals with special needs often deepens compassion, fosters patience, and teaches valuable lessons about perseverance and empathy. Even simple milestones can become sources of immense joy for both the pet and their caregiver.
TikTokers flooded the comments with support and emotion.

“I am very proud of you for taking the time out of your life to make this little babies life even better. You and her deserve the world,” another viewer wrote.
