The WWE Royal Rumble 2026 made history as the first iteration of the Rumble to occur outside the United States, with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, hosting the massive event.

As the premium live event has for the past nine years, the card featured both men’s and women’s matches to decide winners who will fight for championships at WrestleMania. Among the men’s favorites to win were The Beast Brock Lesnar, who announced his participation just last week on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

However, Brock was unable to survive to the final four, which featured Logan Paul, GUNTHER, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns. Three of those individuals previously won the match, with The Maverick Logan Paul looking for his first win. Ultimately, Roman Reigns captured his second win by eliminating GUNTHER last.

Brock Lesnar Makes Decision on WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Match

Meanwhile, Brock’s elimination was a big mystery and talking point for fans regarding some of the event’s miscues. It was a “blink, and you’ll miss it” moment, as a spotlight shone on Jey Uso’s catchy entrance song, with fans “YEETing” along to the music.

The EliteRockerz X account shared a screenshot of Brock after his elimination, calling it “easily the WORST moment of the night” and “poor booking.”

Over 19,000 individuals seemed to agree by liking the post, and several hundred individuals reacted with comments about the Royal Rumble moment in Riyadh.

“Jey took forever to enter, even the ref had to tell him to get in,” one X commenter wrote.

“I’m not even a fan of Brock Lesnar. But he’s obviously a huge player in the match, and his elimination should always feel like a pivotal moment in the rumble. They fumble this so bad,” another commenter said.

“How they didn’t have his elimination setup his mania match is beyond me,” someone wrote on X.

“I can’t f***ing believe they had Brock Lesnar get eliminated like some random jobber,” an X commenter said.

For those wondering, many say LA Knight was the man responsible for Brock’s elimination, as The Beast got sent out of the ring by both him and Cody Rhodes. He was the 19th man to get eliminated from the ring.

There were some entertaining moments in both Rumble matches, including a showdown involving Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. However, Brock sent the former NXT star out of the ring 18th overall, before his elimination happened during all of the Jey Uso Yeeting and celebration during his entrance.

The puzzling moment involving Brock Lesnar joins another one, as he was part of the John Cena retirement tour, and basically squashed Cena during ESPN’s first-ever premium live event, Wrestlepalooza. While that was fine at the time, there was no further explanation or rematch before Cena retired.
